MARK O'HANLON, DVM (Owner)

Dr. O'Hanlon earned his veterinary degree from Washington State Univ.  He also has a B.A. with Distinction in Anthropology from the Univ. of Washington.  Since graduating from vet. school, Dr. O'Hanlon's practice has focused on emergency medicine.  He is especially interested in the treatment of Gastric Dilatation and Volvulus/Torsion (a.k.a. "GDV" or "bloat").  Dr. O'Hanlon resides in Bellevue with his wife, Kathie; three English Bulldogs; a Siamese-mix cat; and an African Grey parrot.

     
 

CYNTHIA "CINDY" KNAPP, DVM

Dr. Knapp is a 1998 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  She completed an internship at Metroplex Veterinary Hospital in Irving, Texas, and has over nine years of emergency veterinary experience.  She resides in Bothell with her husband, Tim; daughter, Olivia; Golden Retriever, Balley; Shepard-mix, Kisha; and kitty, Mocha.

     
 

JENNIFER KISSINGER, DVM

Dr. Kissinger is a 1992 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  She has a strong interest in internal medicine and is trained in laser surgical procedures.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark; son, Justin; dog, Molly; and cat, Kittykins.

     

 

 

JANE E. MCGOUGH, DVM

Dr. Jane McGough graduated from the Univ. of Washington with a bachelor's degree in Zoology.  She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Washington State Univ. in 1982.  Since graduating from vet. school, Jane has worked in the Seattle area with dogs, cats, horses and birds.  Since 1989 she has focused primarily on small animal emergency medicine.  Jane and her husband Jay run a Blueberry Farm and are helped in this endeavor by their many animals:  Mickey the dog, Sydney 2000 the kitty, Chile and Corrie the parrots, the chickens, goats and Rosie the horse.  When she is not working, Jane enjoys riding her dressage horse Patron, knitting, spinning fleece from the goats, reading and traveling.

REBECCA "BECKI" LADE, LVT (Office Manager)

Becki has been with AES for over 15 years!  She is passionate about helping injured animals.  In her free time, she enjoys scuba diving and spending time with her husband, Tim, and son, Masen.  An Australian Cattle Dog (a.k.a. Blue Heeler) and domestic short hair kitty complete Becki's family.

     
 

CAMILLE RUBINELLI, LVT

Camille has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 1983 and has worked at AES since 1996!  Camille enjoys emergency medicine because it offers an interesting diagnostic and treatment challenges in addition to the opportunity to provide excellent nursing care for our patients.

     
 

SARAH "SALLY" FINNEGAN, LVT

Sally has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician for 24 years, 15 of which have been in emergency care.  In her free time, Sally can be found back-country skiing or rock climbing in the Cascades.

     
 

MICHELLE ARMOUR, LVT

Michelle has been with AES for four years.  She became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2006.  Michelle loves vacationing with her family!

     
 

KERRY ASHBY, LVT

Kerry graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Pierce College in 1994.  She lives in the Auburn area with husband, Randy; two children, Savanna and Trenton; a Shih Tzu-Pekingese mix, Wickett; and English Bulldog, Bowser.  Kerry is an active member of her children's school PTA, co-leader of her daughter's Girl Scout troop, and group fitness instructor at 24-Hour Fitness!

     
 

TERESA GADMAN, LVT

Teresa joined AES in January 2007 and received her Veterinary Technician license in 2006.  She previously worked for a 24-hour critical care referral hospital and neurology practice in California.  Teresa and her husband, Mike, enjoy barbecuing and getting together with friends.

CELESTE BLAIS-LARSEN, LVT

Celeste became a LVT through Yakima Valley Community College in 2004.  She works full time at a day time practice in Fall City and just started at AES.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and four dogs, five cats, four goats, three chickens and a duck.  She has been interested in veterinary medicine since she was a young child.  Celeste has a special interest in dog and cat behavior.

     
 

MICHELLE McINTOSH, Veterinary Assistant

Michelle has been with AES for seven years!  She has always had a love for animals and medicine, with a particular interest in hematology and infectious diseases.  Michelle has a B.S. in Microbiology from the Univ. of Washington.  Her future plans include medical school and/or a Masters degree in Public Health/Policy.   In her free time, Michelle enjoys exercising and reading.

     
 

AMY COLLINS, Veterinary Assistant

Amy has worked in the veterinary field for ten years, both in Washington and Idaho.  After earning an A.S. at Olympic College, she obtained a B.S. in Biological Sciences at Seattle University.  Amy is currently applying to veterinary school, and, in her spare time, dabbles in aviation, the culinary arts, and Bikram Yoga.  Amy resides in Seattle with her partner, Nick, and recently adopted 11-year old domestic short-haired cat, Sugar Baby.

     
 

NICOLE ZUNGIA, Veterinary Assistant

Nicole has experience as a zookeeper and animal trainer, specializing in exotic cats and parrots.  She has been working with zoo animals for the last several years and also has several years of experience as a veterinary assistant.  Her degree is a B.S. in Animal Biology from the University of California at Davis. Her long term goal is to pursue her dream of becoming a zoo/wildlife veterinarian.  In her free time she enjoys paddling in outrigger canoes, scuba diving, and spending time with her pets (dog Jax and birds Rocky and Lopi).

     
 

ELENA HERNANDEZ, Veterinary Assistant

Elena is a student at the University of Washington and a member of its Pre-Veterinary Society.  She is originally from New Mexico.

     
 

NADIA, Veterinary Assistant

Nadia joined the AES team in 2007.  Prior to joining AES, Nadia
